Brian McCann's grand slam highlighted a six-run 10th inning that lifted the Atlanta Braves to an 8-2 win over the Houston Astros on Wednesday afternoon.

After Billy Wagner blew the save for the Braves in the bottom of the ninth inning, Atlanta responded with a big 10th frame to earn their second straight win. Omar Infante put the Braves back in front with an RBI double, Alex Gonzalez followed with a run-scoring single and pinch-hitter McCann put the game away with a shot into the right-field seats for his seventh career grand slam.

The rally made a winner out of Wagner (6-2), who surrendered the lead in the ninth after allowing an RBI sacrifice fly by Chris Johnson.

The blown save spoiled a sensational outing from Tommy Hanson. The right-hander limited the Astros offense to an unearned run on two hits over seven innings, with two walks and four strikeouts. Hanson hasn't won since July 3, a span of seven starts.

Houston starter Wandy Rodriguez was also solid. He allowed two runs, one earned, on five hits over seven innings, walking one and striking out nine.

Brandon Lyon (6-5) took the loss, allowing five runs while recording just two outs in the 10th.
