Five players drove in two runs apiece to help the St. Louis Cardinals pull back into a tie at the top of the National League Central Division with an emphatic 12-4 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Monday.

Felipe Lopez, Ryan Ludwick, Matt Holliday, Skip Schumaker and Jon Jay each had a pair of RBIs for the St, Louis, which has won four of five.

The Cardinals scored 11 of their runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings en route to the win, which puts them in a tie atop the division with the Reds at 30-22.

Trailing 3-1, the Cardinals scored three runs in the third and fourth innings before throwing up a five-spot in the sixth to make it 12-3.

Jaime Garcia (5-2) was the beneficiary of St. Louis' offensive burst and picked up the win. He allowed three runs and seven hits in six innings with three walks and six strikeouts.

Bronson Arroyo (5-3) was tagged with the loss as he surrendered seven runs, 10 hits and five walks in 4 1/3 innings. In his first two starts of the season against the Cardinals, Arroyo had allowed three runs and 11 hits in 17 innings.
