Reid Brignac belted his first homer of the season and delivered a perfect squeeze bunt in the top of the 10th inning for the winning run as the visiting Tampa Bay Rays finished a three-game sweep with a 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels Wednesday night.

John Jaso led off the 10th with a walk off losing pitcher Fernando Rodney (2-3), moved to second on Evan Longoria’s infield single, stole third and scored on Brignac’s bunt down the first base line.

Juan Cruz (3-0) pitched the 10th inning to get the victory. Kyle Farnsworth earned his 13th save, getting help from B.J. Upton’s catch up against the center field wall on Bobby Abreu’s long fly ball.

The Angels have lost five straight and are 4-9 in extra-inning games.

Rays starter James Shields scattered six hits through seven innings, but loaded the bases with none out in the eighth and was replaced by Cesar Ramos. Abreu responded by drilling a three-run double to the right-center field gap to tie the game, 3-3.

The Rays had delivered three two-out RBIs to take a 3-0 lead. Brignac hit his solo home run in the third. Justin Ruggiano, 5-for-12 in the series, contributed an RBI double in the seventh and Ben Zobrist added an RBI triple in the eighth.

Angels starter Jered Weaver gave up three runs on six hits. He has won just once since May 1.
