Rangers 6, Twins 2: Adrian Beltre had three hits and two RBIs, Josh Hamilton hit his third home run of the year and the pitching staff continued its impressive start as visiting Texas won its second straight game in Minnesota.

Beltre and Michael Young hit back-to-back RBI singles in the seventh to give the Rangers the lead, and Beltre added an RBI double to score Hamilton in a two-run ninth.

Hamilton finished 3-for-5 - a triple away from the cycle.

Rangers starter Yu Darvish was sharper than in his major-league debut, allowing only two runs - one earned - on nine hits over 5 2/3 innings. He walked four, as he continues to struggle with his command.

Darvish was able to strand most of the runners, as the Twins went 2-for-15 with men in scoring position. Minnesota has scored two runs or fewer in all six of its losses.

Twins starter Nick Blackburn had to leave in the sixth because of stiffness in his right (throwing) shoulder. He is listed as day-to-day.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Minnesota's Josh Willingham went 2-for-3 and has hit safely in the first eight games of his Twins career. … Former Twins closer Joe Nathan received a loud ovation before pitching the ninth in a non-save situation for Texas. … Darvish has yet to record a quality start. His two starts are the only games this season in which Texas has not posted a quality start. … Brandon Snyder, a late addition to the Rangers' lineup when Mitch Moreland was scratched because of an abscess tooth, went 3-for-4 for his first career three-hit game. … The Rangers' two runs in the ninth represented the first runs allowed by Twins reliever Glen Perkins this season.
