Dodgers starter Alex Wood (2-5) gave up one run on four hits over 5 2/3 innings to win at home for the first time this season. His last victory came May 20 at Washington. Kenley Jansen pitched a scoreless ninth for his 17th save, although the Giants did have the tying run at second base in the inning.

The Dodgers won for the 11th time in 13 June games, while also lifting their home run total to 34 this month, the most in baseball.

The Giants are now 3-6 on their 10-game, three-city road trip and have scored two runs or fewer in each of their last 11 games at Dodger Stadium. They are 3-8 over that stretch.

Kemp's 12th home run of the season came in the second inning against Giants starter Madison Bumgarner. Hernandez hit his 10th home run, a two-run shot in the fifth. It was his fourth career home run against the Giants' left-hander.

In his third start since coming off the disabled list after breaking a finger in spring training, Bumgarner (0-2) gave up three runs on five hits over six innings with four walks and three strikeouts.

Kemp and Hernandez each hit home runs for the second consecutive night. Before doing it against Bumgarner on Saturday, they also got to Giants lefty Derek Holland on Friday night.

Hernandez's home run gave the Dodgers a long ball from the No. 2 spot in the order for the seventh consecutive game. Max Muncy has homered four times from the No. 2 spot in that stretch.

After losing three of four games at San Francisco at the end of April, the Dodgers have now won consecutive games against their division rival to even the season series 6-6.

The Dodgers have won 21 of their last 27 games, a run that started with a victory at Miami, followed by a doubleheader sweep at Washington. The Giants, who open a 10-game homestand Monday, have lost 18 of their last 24 road games.
