Christian Walker ripped four hits while Asdrubal Cabrera, Drew Ellis and Kelly had two hits each for the Diamondbacks, who won their second in a row. They have also won all four games against the Phillies thus far this season.

Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen tossed five solid innings, giving up three hits and two runs, both unearned. Gallen (2-7) struck out six and walked two.

Noe Ramirez allowed one run but picked up his first save in three chances. Ramirez struck out Brad Miller with a runner on first to end the game after the Phillies scored five times in the ninth.

Jean Segura socked a two-run homer and singled for the slumping Phillies, who fell below .500 at 63-64 following their third straight loss. Bryce Harper doubled twice and added two RBIs. Didi Gregorius also contributed a two-run single in the ninth inning.

Before the game, the Phillies announced that Rhys Hoskins would miss the remainder of the season with a groin injury.

Phillies starter Zach Eflin was scratched several hours before the game because of recurring knee soreness. Eflin, who had been out since July 16, was replaced by Matt Moore.

Moore (2-4) lasted only four innings and allowed seven hits and four runs with two strikeouts and two walks.

The Diamondbacks jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second inning when Josh Rojas and Ellis each hit an RBI single as Arizona strung together four consecutive hits.

In the fourth, Ahmed blasted a two-run homer to left-center field for a 4-0 Arizona advantage.

Philadelphia closed within 4-2 in the fifth when Segura snapped an 0-for-13 slump with a two-run homer to right.

The Diamondbacks extended their lead to 5-2 in the sixth when Cabrera lined an RBI single to left-center. Kelly then added an RBI single and Arizona went ahead 6-2.

Kelly smashed a two-run homer off Bailey Falter in the eighth for an 8-2 Diamondbacks lead.

Freddy Galvis' RBI groundout, Harper's two-run double and Gregorius' two-run single closed the Phillies within 8-7 in the ninth.
