NUGGETS 118, HAWKS 117 (OT): Nene knocked down two clutch free throws and scored 22 points as host Denver won its fourth straight game over Atlanta.

Nene hit a pair of free throws to give Denver a 118-117 lead with 26 seconds remaining in overtime. Atlanta had an open look at the basket with three seconds left, but Zaza Pachulia missed a layup as time expired.

Atlanta lost for the third time in five stops on its current six-game road trip.

Danilo Gallinari hit a 3-pointer to give Denver a 105-104 lead with three seconds remaining in regulation. Atlanta's Kirk Hinrich was fouled on the ensuing possession but made just one of two free throws to force overtime.

Joe Johnson led the Hawks with 34 points, hitting six of 10 shots from beyond the arc. Josh Smith scored a season-high 33 points before fouling out in overtime. He’s averaging 26.5 points this month.

Ty Lawson scored 21 points and dished out seven assists while Gallinari chipped in with 19 points.
