HEAT 115, CELTICS 111: LeBron James had 34 points and 10 rebounds and Udonis Haslem hit the go-ahead basket in overtime as host Miami took a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference finals.

Dwyane Wade scored 23 points, Mario Chalmers added 22 and Haslem had 13 points and 11 rebounds as Miami rallied from a 15-point first-half deficit to take a commanding lead in the best-of-7 series.

Rajon Rondo played all 53 minutes and scored a career-high 44 points to go with 10 assists for Boston.

Game 3 is Friday in Boston.

Rondo hit two free throws to give the Celtics a 105-103 lead with 2:16 left in overtime but the Heat took the lead on Haslem’s dunk with 1:27 to play as part of a 9-0 run. Wade hit two free throws to give Miami a 112-105 edge with 18.4 seconds left.

Rondo hit two 3-pointers to keep Boston’s chances alive before Wade hit one of two free throws with 2.2 seconds left to seal it.

Boston tied the score at 99-99 on Ray Allen’s 3-pointer with 34.3 seconds left in regulation. James missed two shots in the final 20 seconds, including a 21-footer just prior to the buzzer.

Paul Pierce scored 21 points before fouling out and Kevin Garnett added 18 points for Boston.

Miami recovered from a poor opening 20 minutes and finally surpassed the Celtics with 12 consecutive points late in a 35-point third quarter.

Boston led 71-66 after Rondo’s basket with 4:24 left in the quarter before Chalmers started the surge with a reverse layup. A three-point play by Haslem put the Heat ahead and Wade’s three-point play culminated the run and gave Miami a 78-71 lead.

Rondo had 22 points and seven assists in the first half as Boston took a 53-46 lead. The Celtics had a 47-32 lead after Allen’s 18-footer with four minutes left in the half before Miami began its comeback with an 11-2 run.

: Rondo hit 16 of 24 shots in the top offensive performance of his career. … Miami hit 13 of 20 shots in the third quarter … Boston connected on 26 of 29 free throws after sinking just 11 of 21 in Game 1 … Wade was 1-of-6 shooting in the first half and scored his only two points on a layup 27 seconds before halftime … the teams combined for just 16 turnovers – eight apiece. … Heat forward Chris Bosh (abdominal strain) again sat out.
