David Loubeau and Derrek Lewis led five players in double figures as Texas A&M got the better of Pacific 79-59 Saturday.
Khris Middleton added nine rebounds and five assists to his 10 points for the Aggies (7-1), who have won four straight.
Texas A&M dominated from the start with an opening 10-2 run, and surged to a 38-22 lead at the break. Loubeau went 4 of 5 from the floor for eight points to lead the Aggies in the opeing 20 minutes. Sam Willard did his best to keep the Tigers in the game with 12 points before the break.
Texas A&M stretched it to 55-35 seven minutes into the second half.
Willard finished with a game-high 24 points for the Tigers (4-4).
Its football team may be home instead of playing in the Big 12 Championship game on Saturday night, but Texas A&M might have another strong team on the court. Middleton and company have already knocked off a Top 25 team in Temple, and have their remaining non-conference games at home, with Washington and Arkansas the toughest.
