Malcolm Grant and Reggie Johnson scored 15 points apiece as Miami bounced back from a disappointing home loss to Clemson to defeat Boston College 73-64 on Wednesday.
Garrius Adams added 12 points and Durand Scott had 10 for the Hurricanes (17-11, 5-8), who have won three straight on the road and will meet ACC rival Florida State in Tallahassee on Saturday.
Joe Trapani scored 16 points and Reggie Jackson had 15 for the Eagles (16-11, 6-7).
Miami led 38-19 at halftime, but Boston College pulled within seven before Johnson's eight straight points gave the Hurricanes some breathing room.
The Eagles made one last surge and narrowed the gap to 61-56 with 3:40 remaining, but mustered only two points in the next 2:30.
