It was the second double-double of the season for Wright, who scored eight of his points in the second half.
The Crimson (10-1), playing their first-ever home game as a ranked team, won the rebounding battle 32-17 and shot a blazing 55 percent from the field.
Raymond Taylor had 14 points to lead Florida Atlantic (4-8), which came back from a six-point halftime deficit to take a second-half lead but couldn’t hold on for the upset.
After trailing 34-28 at the break, the Owls went on a 13-4 run early in the second half to take a 41-40 lead on Andre Mattison’s layup with 12:47 left.
The two teams traded buckets for a few minutes after that until Harvard went on a quick 14-2 spurt to claim a 59-47 advantage when Brandyn Curry hit a jumper and then got a steal and two free throws with 2:34 remaining.
Curry finished with 12 points and seven assists.
