Forward Kenny Kadji dominated for the second time in three days as visiting Miami beat Georgia Tech 64-49.
A 6-foot-11 native of Cameroon, Kadji had 21 points and eight rebounds after posting 20 and 11 Sunday in a loss against N.C. State.
Miami (11-7, 2-3 ACC) closed the first half on a 17-7 run to lead 35-22 at the break. Tech never got closer than within eight points in the second half.
After hitting 2-of-20 3-pointers against N.C. State, the Hurricanes buried 9 of 17 from beyond the arc to earn their second road win. Malcolm Grant (16 points) nailed 4 of 6, and Shane Larkin hit 2 of 3.
Tech (8-12, 1-5 ACC) has lost four straight and eight of nine. Tech has also dropped five straight “home” games. The team is playing at Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta while construction continues on the on-campus arena.
Mfon Udofia led the Jackets with 14 points.
Miami has won seven of its last nine against Georgia Tech.
