Vanderbilt 62, Auburn 55: Kedren Johnson had 16 points, eight assists and five rebounds as the visiting Commodores took advantage of an extended shooting slump by the Tigers to defeat Auburn for the eighth straight time.

Kevin Bright added 14 points and eight rebounds, while Josh Henderson scored 11 for Vanderbilt (13-15, 7-9 SEC), which has won three straight games and four of its last five. The Commodores shot 38.5 percent from 3-point range and 26.1 percent inside the arc.

Chris Denson scored 16 points for Auburn (9-20, 3-13), which missed 16 consecutive shots from the field spanning halftime en route to its seventh straight loss and 13th in its last 14 games. After Denson's dunk with 9:52 left in the first half, the Tigers made one free throw before Denson hit a jumper with 16:16 to go.

Auburn missed its final 12 field goal attempts of the first half, and Vanderbilt scored 15 of the last 16 points en route to a 26-17 lead at the break. Bright had eight points and six rebounds in the opening 20 minutes, when the teams combined to shoot 29.4 percent from the floor.

After Rod Odom's jumper gave the Commodores a 31-17 lead, the Tigers cut the deficit to 35-31 on Denson's 3-pointer with 11:58 left. Vanderbilt re-established a double-digit lead when Bright hit a 3-pointer to make it 47-36 with 6:55 to go, and Auburn could get no closer than five the rest of the way.
