Kalib Boone scored 22 points and took 15 rebounds, both career-highs, and Cade Cunningham added 19 points, 16 of them after halftime, as Oklahoma State outlasted No. 6 Texas 75-67 in double overtime on Saturday afternoon in Big 12 play in Stillwater, Okla.

The game was tied at 56 before Courtney Ramey's second-chance 3-pointer gave Texas a 59-56 lead with 2:16 to play. After empty possessions from both teams, Cunningham poured in a 3-pointer for the Cowboys with 53 seconds remaining to tie the game.

The extra period was knotted at 63 before Cunningham canned two free throws with 1:35 to play. Ramey answered with two free throws for Texas with 1:19 remaining, ultimately sending the game to a second overtime tied at 65.

Oklahoma State (12-5, 5-5) took charge in the second extra period, using layups by Avery Anderson III and Bryce Williams to jump to a 69-65 lead. After a pair of free throws by Ramey, Cunningham poured in a 3-pointer with 1:39 to play, and the Cowboys were able to run away with the win.

Anderson III added 16 points and 10 rebounds for Oklahoma State, which has won three of its past four games.

Andrew Jones led Texas with 17 points while Ramey added 13 and Kai Jones scored 11 points for the Longhorns (11-5, 5-4). Texas, which has lost three games in a row and four of its past five, shot just 25.3 percent in the loss and was 5 of 35 from beyond the arc.

Texas led 23-14 after a 3-pointer by Jones with 8:21 to play in the first half before the Cowboys used their defense to flip the script. Oklahoma State finished the half by scoring the 21 of the final 27 points and took a 35-29 advantage into the break.

Boone paced the Cowboys with 13 points and six rebounds as Oklahoma State outshot the Longhorns 38.7 percent to 29.4 percent and forced Texas into 11 turnovers in the first half.

Jones' seven points and six rebounds led the Longhorns over the first 20 minutes of play.
