Killian Tillie and Johnathan Williams both responded to Gonzaga head coach Mark Few's benching in a big way.

Tillie scored a career-high 27 points and Williams collected his third double-double of the season to lead 12th-ranked Gonzaga to a wire-to-wire 101-71 victory over IUPUI on Monday night in Spokane, Wash.

Tillie, who made 8 of 12 shots, set a personal best on a 3-pointer with 6:05 to play. He also converted all 10 of his free-throw attempts, and the Bulldogs finished 25 of 29 from the line as a team.

"I liked our energy better," Few said. "We were really, really good on the offensive end."

Gonzaga (10-2) won for the sixth time in seven games, including three in a row. The Bulldogs shot a scorching 68 percent and topped 100 points for the fourth time this season.

Williams finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds, and Josh Perkins added 13 points and six assists for Gonzaga.

Few was not pleased with his frontcourt's effort Saturday in an 89-83 overtime win over North Dakota. As a result, Jacob Larsen and Rui Hachimura received the first starts in their careers.

Williams came off the bench after starting his first 50 games at Gonzaga, and Tillie did so for the first time this season.

"They are fun to watch," Few said of the duo. "But when they don't bring energy and physicality and toughness, we are not as good."

IUPUI (2-8) pulled within 11 on three occasions including a pair of Maurice Kirby free throws with 6:59 left.

Junior guard T.J. Henderson scored 18 points to pace the Jaguars, who lost their sixth consecutive game. Evan Hall added 12 points and Kirby chipped in 11.

"They're a really good team," IUPUI head coach Jason Gardner said. "We knew we'd have to play nearly perfect to be in the game late, and we just made too many defensive mistakes against them. You kind of have to pick your poison against them because they can hit you from so many different directions."

IUPUI struggled mightily from the start, trailing by 16 at the half and failing to convert a field goal over the last 5:05 before the break. Meanwhile, leading scorer Aaron Brennan picked up three fouls in just five scoreless first-half minutes.

Brennan, who was averaging 12.9 points coming into the game, finished with six points before fouling out.
