Ryan Succop atoned for an earlier overtime miss with a 35-yard field goal as time expired in overtime, lifting the Kansas City Chiefs to a 13-10 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.

Succop had a chance to win it with a 39-yard kick earlier in the extra period, but the swirling wind pushed it wide left. His second game-winning try started outside the right upright and hooked in.

Bills kicker Rian Lindell also had a chance to make the winning kick in overtime, but his second attempt from 53 yards hit the right upright - his first was good, but Kansas City (5-2) called timeout before the snap.

Jamaal Charles rushed for 177 yards on 22 carries and Thomas Jones added 77 yards on 19 carries for the Chiefs. Charles also caught four passes for 61 yards.

Kansas City quarterback Matt Cassel was 14 of 26 for 152 yards and a touchdown.

The Bills (0-7) had a chance to win it in regulation too, but rookie Eric Berry intercepted Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick inside the Chiefs 25 with 20 seconds left.

Fitzpatrick threw for 223 yards on 24-of-48 passing with a touchdown and an interception, and he rushed for 43 yards on six carries.

The Bills are the last remaining winless team in the NFL.
