Matt Schaub tossed a pair of touchdown passes as the visiting Houston Texans overcame an early exit by Arian Foster to post a 23-13 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

With Houston nursing a 16-13 lead, Schaub found Andre Johnson alone along the left sideline for a 23-yard scoring strike with 10:06 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Schaub, who completed 21 of 29 passes for 230 yards, tossed a 4-yard touchdown pass to tight end Owen Daniels just 51 seconds into the second quarter.

Houston improved to 2-0, but saw Foster exit the contest after just 10 carries for 33 yards. With last year's rushing champion out, Ben Tate filled in admirably for the second straight week and rushed 23 times for 103 yards.

After throwing for a career-high 416 yards last week, Chad Henne was held in check on Sunday. Henne completed just 12 of 30 passes for 170 yards, but found Brandon Marshall for a 12-yard touchdown with 6:37 remaining in the third quarter.

Rookie Daniel Thomas rushed for a team-high 18 carries and 107 yards for Miami (0-2), which has dropped both games at home this season after going 1-7 at home last season.
