Filip Forsberg scored once to set a franchise record in goals and added an assist, and the Nashville Predators defeated the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs 6-3 Saturday night.

Forsberg's 33rd goal of the season came in the third period and gave him a franchise record of 211, passing David Legwand.

Eeli Tolvanen, Matt Duchene and Yakov Trenin also had a goal and an assist each for the Predators, who have won six of their past eight.

Tanner Jeannot and Mattias Ekholm added goals, Roman Josi had three assists and Colton Sissons had two assists.

Mitchell Marner had two goals and an assist for the Maple Leafs, who had won two in a row. Auston Matthews had a goal and an assist.

Juuse Saros made 38 saves for Nashville, and Erik Kallgren stopped 28 shots for Toronto.

Jeannot took a pass from Sissons and shot from the left circle to the top corner of the goal for his 21st of the season at 13:46 of the first period.

Tolvanen scored his ninth goal of the season at 1:48 of the second period, tipping in a shot from the left point by Jeremy Davies.

Michael Bunting fed Marner in the slot, and he scored at 8:04 of the second period. Matthews, who returned from a two-game suspension, also earned an assist by winning position of the puck in the Nashville zone.

Ekholm scored his fifth of the season on a screened one-timer from near the right boards at 10:52 of the second.

Matthews scored his 46th goal at 3:41 of the third period, tucking in his own rebound on a pass from Marner.

Forsberg jammed home a rebound on a power play at 12:11 of the third. Kyle Clifford was off for interference.

Duchene scored his 32nd off Forsberg's rebound shot at 14:09.

With the goaltender removed from an extra attacker, Marner scored his 26th goal at 15:19 of the third.

Trenin scored into an empty net at 19:08.

Toronto's Ondrej Kase left the game early in the second period after taking an elbow to the head and did not return as a precaution.
