Matty Beniers and Eeli Tolvanen each had a goal and two assists as the Seattle Kraken snapped an eight-game winless streak with a 4-0 victory against the visiting Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night.

Jordan Eberle and Oliver Bjorkstrand added power-play goals for Seattle (29-29-13, 71 points) and goaltender Joey Daccord was forced to make just 12 saves for his third career NHL shutout, all of which have come this season.

Goalie John Gibson stopped 32 of 36 shots for Anaheim (24-44-4, 52 points), which has lost nine of its past 10 games (1-8-1).

The Kraken, who had scored more than one goal just twice during their 0-6-2 skid, had an offensive explosion in the first period on Tuesday, tallying a pair of markers.

They opened the scoring at 7:50 of the first, as Beniers skated the puck around the back of the net and found a wide-open Tolvanen just outside the top of the crease. Tolvanen scooped a shot into the upper left corner of the net before Gibson could fully get turned around.

Seattle doubled its advantage on the power play at 16:51. Eberle got the puck low on the left wing and tried to slide a pass across the top of the crease to Jaden Schwartz at the far post. Instead, the puck deflected off Ducks defenseman William Lagesson and went into the net.

The Kraken made it 3-0 on the power play at 5:08 of the second. Ducks defenseman Pavel Mintyukov stuck his leg out to stop Tolvanen's centering pass, but the puck fell right to Bjorkstrand in the slot, and he beat Gibson with a one-timer just inside the right post.

Beniers scored on a three-on-one rush at 15:55 of the period, beating Gibson to the near post from the right faceoff circle after a give-and-go with Tolvanen.

Anaheim forward Trevor Zegras returned after missing 31 games with a broken ankle suffered Jan. 9.

Kraken forward Logan Morrison made his NHL debut, centering the fourth line with fellow call-up Ryan Winterton.
