April 16, 2017
Baltimore at Toronto 1:07 PM ET
The Toronto Blue Jays attempt to record back-to-back wins for the first time this season when they host the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday afternoon in the rubber match of a three-game series. The Blue Jays coughed up a one-run lead in the ninth inning Saturday before Kendrys Morales belted a walk-off solo homer in the bottom of the frame for a 2-1 victory that put an end to a seven-game losing streak.
Detroit at Cleveland 1:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians look to continue their offensive surge when they host the Central Division-rival Detroit Tigers on Sunday afternoon in the rubber match of a three-game series. The Indians scored six runs in the final two innings of Friday’s 7-6 loss before belting four homers among 19 hits in the 13-6 triumph on Saturday that snapped a three-game slide.
Milwaukee at Cincinnati 1:10 PM ET

Two rebuilding teams hoping to outpace expectations this season lock horns Sunday when the Cincinnati Reds host the Milwaukee Brewers in the finale of a four-game series. The Brewers took the first two games before Cincinnati won 7-5 on Saturday to snap Milwaukee’s four-game winning streak.

NY Mets at Miami 1:10 PM ET
The long ball has played a big role in early days of the season for the New York Mets, but giving up homers recently has the Mets looking to snap a two-game losing streak entering the third game of a four-game series Sunday at the Miami Marlins. The Mets looked to be in control Saturday when Asdrubal Cabrera extended New York’s streak of games with a homer to 11, before Christian Yelich and Giancarlo Stanton went deep in the eighth inning of a 5-4 triumph.
Philadelphia at Washington 1:35 PM ET
The Philadelphia Phillies aim for their second series win of the young season over the Washington Nationals when the teams cap a three-game set in the nation's capital Sunday afternoon. After taking two of three at home earlier in the month, the Phillies have gained a split of the first two games in Washington - claiming Saturday's matchup 4-2 behind another solid start by Jeremy Hellickson and a clutch homer by Cesar Hernandez.
San Diego at Atlanta 1:35 PM ET
The Atlanta Braves have played only two games at SunTrust Park, but so far they seem to be enjoying their new home entering the third game of a four-game set Sunday against the San Diego Padres. Atlanta has won three games in a row, including the first two games in its new suburban stadium, riding back-to-back homers from Brandon Phillips and Adonis Garcia as well as solid relief pitching to a 4-2 victory Saturday.
Tampa Bay at Boston 1:35 PM ET
Drew Pomeranz's first start of the season was a very promising one and the left-hander looks to make it two straight when he leads the Boston Red Sox into another matchup with the visiting Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday. Pomeranz opened the year on the disabled list and returned Tuesday against Baltimore to lead the Red Sox to an 8-1 victory.
LA Angels at Kansas City 2:15 PM ET
The Los Angeles Angels began their three-game series with the Kansas City Royals as one of the top hitting teams in the American League, but they'll be lucky to leave Kauffman Stadium with much confidence. The host Royals aim to reach the .500 mark for the first time this season Sunday as they attempt to complete a sweep of the slumping Angels.
Pittsburgh at Chi. Cubs 2:20 PM ET

The Pittsburgh Pirates already have more wins at Wrigley Field this season than they managed all of last year, and they’ll try to add another when they wrap up a three-game series Sunday against the host Chicago Cubs. The Pirates aim for their first sweep at Wrigley since Sept. 5-7, 2014 after rallying for an 8-6 victory on Saturday.

Colorado at San Francisco 4:05 PM ET
The San Francisco Giants hope to end their homestand on a high note and earn a split of the four-game series on Sunday as they host the Colorado Rockies for the finale. San Francisco is 3-3 on its seven-game string at AT&T Park but 1-2 in the set against Colorado after being blanked 5-0 on Saturday.
Houston at Oakland 4:05 PM ET
The Houston Astros aim to conclude their six-game road trip with a five-game winning streak as they attempt to complete a sweep when they visit the Oakland Athletics on Sunday for the last of three meetings. Houston has erupted offensively since being shut out by Seattle in the opener of its trek, scoring a total of 34 runs in its four straight triumphs.
Arizona at LA Dodgers 4:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers improved to 5-1 at home this season on Saturday but lost second baseman Logan Forsythe midway through the game with right hamstring tightness. Forsythe likely will be out of the lineup Sunday as the Dodgers continue their four-game series against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks, who have lost three in a row.
Texas at Seattle 4:10 PM ET
The Texas Rangers’ potent offense has gone cold in Seattle, where temperatures have dipped into the lower-50s this weekend. After being held to one run in the first two games of the series, the Rangers look to avoid a sweep on Sunday against the Mariners, who opened the season 2-8 but are starting to show why they're expected to contend in the American League West.
Chi. White Sox at Minnesota 4:10 PM ET
The Minnesota Twins entered Saturday with losses in three of their previous four games and began the day holding their breath a bit as Brian Dozier underwent an MRI on his right knee, but the news only got better after that. Coming off an impressive pitching performance by Ervin Santana, the host Twins look to take two of three from the Chicago White Sox in as many weekends when they meet on Sunday.
St. Louis at NY Yankees 8:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees have matched their best start at home since the historic 1998 team opened 7-0 and they will look to remain perfect in the Bronx when they end a three-game series with the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday night. Saturday's bizarre 3-2 victory gave the Yankees a 5-0 mark at their home park, tied with the 1999 and 2000 teams and just two behind the squad that won 114 regular-season games 19 years ago.
