Preview Roundups
February 06, 2018
Cleveland at Orlando 7:00 PM ET
The Cleveland Cavaliers are going through an abysmal stretch and look to begin a turnaround when they visit the Orlando Magic on Tuesday. Cleveland has dropped 12 of its last 18 games, and Saturday's 120-88 loss to Houston was its fourth by more than 20 points over its last 12 contests.
Boston at Toronto 7:30 PM ET
The race for the top spot in the Eastern Conference intensifies Tuesday in Toronto as the Raptors host the first-place Boston Celtics in the first matchup between the divisional foes in nearly three months. The Celtics lead the Raptors by two games and enter this one on a four-game winning streak after Al Horford's buzzer-beater gave them a 97-96 triumph over Portland on Sunday.
Memphis at Atlanta 7:30 PM ET
The Memphis Grizzlies are trying to find their way while surrounding center Marc Gasol with a plethora of young players, and the win column is proving difficult to enter. The Grizzlies will try to avoid being swept on a four-game road trip when they visit the Atlanta Hawks for the finale on Tuesday.
Houston at Brooklyn 7:30 PM ET
The Houston Rockets made another big statement with a rout of the bumbling Cleveland Cavaliers in a nationally televised game Saturday night. They will try to stay hot when they move to a smaller stage and take on the host Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night.
Milwaukee at New York 7:30 PM ET
The Milwaukee Bucks are winners of six of seven games since moving on from head coach Jason Kidd, but an injury to superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo could spell doom for the club. The Bucks hope to have Antetokounmpo available when they visit the struggling New York Knicks on Tuesday.
Washington at Philadelphia 8:00 PM ET
The Washington Wizards have won a season-best five straight games despite the loss of their top player and look to continue the streak when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday. Washington's solid stretch began when five-time All-Star John Wall went down with a knee injury that will keep him sidelined until mid-March.
Oklahoma City at Golden State 10:30 PM ET
Head coach Steve Kerr called the Golden State Warriors "mentally fried" even before they went into Denver and suffered a rare loss in which they led entering the fourth quarter on Saturday. The Warriors will hope two days off and a return home gives them a boost when they host the struggling Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday.
Phoenix at L.A. Lakers 10:30 PM ET
The Lakers appeared to be at a low point after an embarrassing loss at Orlando on Wednesday, but back-to-back wins at Brooklyn and Oklahoma City allowed them to finish up a winning five-game road trip and head home with some momentum. The Lakers will try to push their winning streak to three in a row when they host the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.
