Preview Roundups
April 11, 2017
Charlotte at Atlanta 7:30 PM ET
The Atlanta Hawks are fresh off one of the most startling victories in franchise history and look to win their fourth consecutive game when they host the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday. Atlanta became the third team in NBA history to win a game in which it trailed by 26 or more points entering the fourth quarter when it rallied for a 126-125 overtime victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.
Oklahoma City at Minnesota 8:00 PM ET
The triple-double record has been secured but there is still the NBA MVP award to play for when Russell Westbrook leads the Oklahoma City Thunder into action against the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. Westbrook's 42 triple-doubles tops the record set by legendary Oscar Robertson (41 in 1961-62) and he is battling Houston guard James Harden for MVP honors.
Denver at Dallas 8:30 PM ET
The Denver Nuggets looked like they would keep their playoff hopes alive on Sunday while leading most of the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder before a last-second 3-pointer eliminated them from contention. The Nuggets will begin playing out the string when they visit the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday.
New Orleans at L.A. Lakers 10:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Lakers might not be making some of the people in the front office very happy, but they are starting to look like they have a future. The Lakers will aim for their fifth consecutive win when they host the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday.
Phoenix at Sacramento 10:30 PM ET
The Phoenix Suns head into their final regular season game with the second-worst record in the NBA and a two-game winning streak that is threatening to knock them back in the NBA draft lottery. The Suns will go into the finale conflicted when they visit the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.
