Preview Roundups
December 01, 2017
Golden State at Orlando 7:00 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors got their two MVPs back on Wednesday but still needed overtime to win the opener of a six-game road trip. The Warriors will try to take care of things before the end of regulation when the trip hits the east coast with a visit to the Orlando Magic on Friday.
Detroit at Washington 7:00 PM ET
The Washington Wizards are already enduring a stretch without one star guard and they now have to hold their breath on another. The Wizards hope to have sharpshooter Bradley Beal in the lineup Friday when they make a pit stop at home to take on the streaking Detroit Pistons.
Indiana at Toronto 7:30 PM ET
The Toronto Raptors are winners of five straight at home and will try to avenge one of their recent road losses when they host the Indiana Pacers on Friday. The Raptors took five of their last seven overall but could not find a way around the Pacers in Indiana last Friday and ended up with a 107-104 setback.
Charlotte at Miami 8:00 PM ET
The Miami Heat looked listless without star center Hassan Whiteside in a loss at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday and they may need to find a way to get by without their big man going forward. Whiteside will be questionable with an ongoing knee issue when the Heat begin a two-game homestand against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday.
Sacramento at Chicago 8:00 PM ET
The Sacramento Kings haven't won in Chicago this decade but figure to have a good shot at halting their seven-game skid at the United Center when they visit the hapless Bulls on Friday. Sacramento last left the Windy City victorious on Dec. 21, 2009, but the current version of the Bulls owns the worst record in the NBA at 3-17.
San Antonio at Memphis 8:00 PM ET
The Memphis Grizzlies are losers of nine straight games and are on their second coach of the season after firing David Fizdale on Monday and naming J.B. Bickerstaff as the interim head coach. Bickerstaff will try to earn his first win at the helm when the Grizzlies host the San Antonio Spurs in the back end of a home-and-home set on Friday.
Minnesota at Oklahoma City 8:00 PM ET
Things are not going well for the Oklahoma City Thunder of late, and a second-half meltdown in Orlando on Wednesday was the latest issue. The Thunder will try to solve some of their problems in front of their own fans when they open a three-game homestand by hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.
New Orleans at Utah 9:00 PM ET
The Utah Jazz are recovering from a slow start and look to win their fifth consecutive contest when they host the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. Utah erupted for 100 points over the final three quarters and established a season-high scoring output with Thursday's 126-107 road win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
