Minnesota at NY Islanders 1:00 PM ET
Two teams in similar positions face off Monday afternoon as the New York Islanders host the Minnesota Wild. Both clubs hold down the second wild-card spot in their respective conferences, with New York having won two consecutive games and Minnesota dropping two in a row - both at home.
Washington at Buffalo 3:00 PM ET
The Washington Capitals look to rebound from an embarrassing result last time out when they complete a four-game road trip on Monday afternoon against the Eastern Conference-worst Buffalo Sabres. The Capitals, who have fallen one point behind Pittsburgh for first place in the Metropolitan Division, were outshot 44-20 en route to a 7-1 loss at Chicago on Saturday - the second time they have surrendered seven goals in a game this month.
Boston at Calgary 4:00 PM ET
The Boston Bruins look to recover from a rare off-night when they continue their five-game road trip Monday afternoon against the Calgary Flames. The Bruins, who sit three points behind first-place Tampa Bay in the Atlantic Division with three games in hand, had won six of their first seven contests this month before beginning the trek by giving up five goals in the first 22 minutes, 44 seconds of Saturday's 6-1 setback at Vancouver.
Ottawa at Nashville 8:00 PM ET
The Nashville Predators attempt to break even on their four-game homestand when they host the Ottawa Senators in the finale on Monday. Nashville, which is in a dogfight with Winnipeg for first place in the Central Division, fell to 1-2-0 on the string Saturday as it dropped a 3-1 decision to Detroit.
Los Angeles at Chicago 8:30 PM ET
The Chicago Blackhawks look to build off their first victory of the month as they continue their five-game homestand Monday against the Los Angeles Kings. Chicago opened February with eight straight setbacks (0-7-1) and took out its frustrations on Washington on Saturday as 12 different players landed on the scoresheet in a 7-1 triumph.
Anaheim at Vegas 10:00 PM ET
The expansion Vegas Golden Knights sit atop the NHL with 82 points and intend to stay there for a while as they look to complete a four-game sweep of the season series against the visiting Anaheim Ducks on Monday. The Golden Knights have won three straight contests after rolling to a 6-3 victory over Montreal on Saturday and own a comfortable lead in the Pacific Division.
